VMUG Virtual Connect

The VMUG was a massive success in the virtual realm. Innovatis not only exceeded their registration and attendance goals, but were able to feature great guests including their new VMware CEO Raghu Raghuram and musician Max Frost. The event entrance and lobby was customized to look like the Innovatis Group building. 3D avatars sat casually on the steps and leaned on railings in the lobby. The exhibition hall was on a second story floor with trees and buildings in the backdrop. They provided the event agenda and speaker bios and abstracts for attendees to explore. The event kept attendees engaged through a “Social Connect” tab where there was a photo booth, social wall and a photo booth gallery. If participants were not attending a webinar session or browsing the exhibition hall, they could keep scores on a virtual leaderboard where they could win prizes.
