8th Annual Healthy Churches 2030 Conference

The Balm In Gilead, Inc. brings public health leaders and faith communities together to strategically address health disparities among African Americans. This one-of-a-kind virtual conference equips African American congregations and public health professionals with the tools to confront racial inequities in healthcare and wellness programs. Attendees entered into a hustling and bustling virtual lobby. They made sure to keep their audience on the virtual venue with the help of leaderboards and scavenger hunts. In addition to this, they also included a conference survey which allowed them to get a quick evaluation of their event. This was a great way to get instant feedback. They made sure their journal stood out in the top navigation bar as well. The 4 day event had various webinar sessions running each day, plus attendees could create their own schedules for the webinars. The virtual event platform was a great example of a vibrant and happening space for attendees to come together. It even connected attendees via the networking lounge where they could chat with each other. An excellent way to help people network while still separated by distance.
