Fourth International Conference on the Safe Schools Declaration

This amazing hybrid conference was hosted by Nigeria in collaboration with Argentina, Norway, Spain, the African Union Commission, and the Global Coalition for Protecting Education under Attack (GCPEA). The conference brought together government representatives, international organizations and the civil society to promote global cooperation and strengthen coordination on implementing the Safe Schools Declaration. The conference included live streamed welcome reception, side events, panels and sessions and performances by professional artists and children. The panels and sessions were available in four languages to cater to a global audience. Attendees could interact with each other via group and private chat. The animated 3D designs of the virtual environment gave a very lifelike event experience to the virtual audience.
