Exploring the Mind, Body and Soul
“Exploring the Mind, Body and Soul” was the fifth in a series of international conferences co-hosted by the Cura Foundation and the Pontifical Council for Culture. This was an event that built bridges among scientists and health care professionals, business leaders, policymakers, government officials, entertainers, athletes, philanthropists and religious luminaries to improve health globally. The virtual nature of the #UniteToPrevent and #UniteToCure event allowed the hosts to grow the conference audience more than 10-fold with nearly 4,000 attendees. Over 155,000 people viewed it on social media live streams! What was really special was the wonderful virtual book with speaker information and the agenda that could be flipped through.
The event was covered by the Vatican News, The Associated Press, the Daily News, CNN, CBS News, The Wall Street Journal and more than 200 other media outlets. The press coverage for the event reached over 1.99 billion people in 42 countries! Of note, ten leading journalists moderated the 2021 event uniting 128 of the world’s thought leaders in stimulating conversations on the latest breakthroughs in medicine, health care delivery and prevention, as well as the anthropological outcomes and the cultural impact of technological advances. The speakers participated in over 90 dynamic, short-segment programs covering diverse topics supporting the mission of improving human health globally.
