NHF’s Bleeding Disorders Conference

The NFH’s Bleeding Disorders Conference ran successfully for the second year in a row virtually. Over 2,500 bleeding disorders patients and healthcare professionals from the US and around the world were able to receive education in real time through a virtual setting over the span of four live days. The exhibition hall was visible behind glass doors. A poster hall called “E-Sessions” shared all posters for viewing. Attendees could simply venture into the poster lobby and choose the theme of posters they would like to see. Virtual engagement was provided through a scavenger hunt, trivia and scores determined on a virtual leaderboard. Attendees could also record a video testimonial based on their experience of the conference. The event included a wellness series with videos on meditation and yoga. Attendees could find interesting event content using a search tool and network with each other via chat.
